The Matador are a 5 piece hardcore band situated on the Gold Coast. Although
having only been around since early 2006 The Matador have expended quite
rapidly since unleashing their unique style of brutality within the local
scene. The sound of The Matador is a mixture of uplifting melodies, raw
brutal vocals and random chaotic guitar and has been lablled as metal based
rock combined with what is now known as noisecore.
The Matador try to set themselves apart from your typical hardcore bands through their chaotic music and intense live performances. Having only been around since early 2006 The Matador have made a name for themselves from sharing the stage with such high profile Australian bands as A SECRET DEATH, COMA LIES, MOURNING TIDE and THE WRATH just to name a few.
