Re-Invention are a four peice Hardcore band from Redcliffe, Australia. With
Brutal Beatdowns, Heavy and Melodic riffs and a variety of Vocal talents,
Re-Invention are defenetly one of the up and comming bands that will
impress.
Redcliffe’s Re-Invention formed originally as a three-piece covers band called Blindsight. The Band got bored with just playing covers and they decided to look for a decent singer. After searching, they finally convinced their good friend Locky to join the band as their frontman. They found him to be a more brutal singer and he definitely had the best voice for the style of music they were going for. During the 3 years Re-Invention have been together they won the “Amped Up” Battle of the Bands. As well as awards for Best Drummer and Best Lead Guitarist. Re-Invention have just finished recording their “Prepare to be Crushed” E.P at Modern Music Studios at Woolongabba, with producer Stewart Niven. Stuart has worked with Parkway Drive, Amity Affliction, Japunga, Melodyssey, and The Butterfly Effect. We felt that this CD showed Re-Invention in its heaviest form so far. Re-Invention have played numerous Brisbane gigs, and Redcliffe gigs. The Band have done incredibly well in Redcliffe, and they want to push there limits to expose themselves in the Brisbane metal and hardcore scene. Re-Invention have played alongside bands such as From these Wounds, Hierarchy, Sons of Mars, Shifter, Inrush, Prophecy Of Chaos, Metallurgy and Plenty of Others. At the moment Re-Invention are writing New Music as they are recording there new E.P about June 2006 and Playing Gigs around the Brisbane area.
