6 Foot Immortals are a metal-core band from Queensland, Australia. Based on
Bribie Island, the band was formed in March 2005, but was only a 4-peice
metal band; the band lay dormant after having problems with members and
decided to give it a break.
Then in March 2006 6 Foot decided it was time, After soul searching for a second guitarist and vocalist and adapting and playing an equal mix of hardcore and metal the band recorded a 3 track demo "live in the studio" wich you can pick up from them at any of the shows they play. once having that the band bagan playing at local shows around the local area making a name for them selfs being "brutally shocking" with an eye catching stage acts, demolishing breakdowns, melodically-destructive and catchy hook driven songs. The band competed "Redcliffe battle of the bands '06' they walked away with awards such as; Best Vocalist 'Mikey' Best Guitarist 'Benny' Best Drummer 'Lukeass' As well as a tie between ourselves & another band for first place. then the band went on to play "get amped"(playing with bands like Kingmungi, Choking cats, Rong Regime, A Nameless Fear, and more!) & as many said 6 foot "stole the show" The band realized that not only were people coming to hear the music, but they also came to see what stupidity would spew forth from the stage this time this helping the band establish a loyal fanbase and a slight foot hole in the hardcore scene the band consists of Jason (vocals) mikel (vocals) Jason (bass) Ben (guitar) chris (guitar) luke (drums) the band is curently giging and making new music, make sure you come see them you will be glad you did.
