style of hardcore that has been described as "Iron Maiden" meets
"Killswitch Engage". Through constant gigging and growing support The
Daylight Curse recorded their debut CD entitled 'While I breathe I
hope' through the help of Strike One Records and was released late 03.
The CD offering eight brutal tracks featuring the emotional charged
track 'Dum Spiro Spero'. Although only a young band they have managed
to gain themselves a noteworthy reputation amongst the hardcore crowd
of Brisbane and beyond, much thanks to the fact that they are members
of the growing North Coast Hardcore scene. Widely recognized for their
energetic stage performances and down to earth approach to the local
music scene, this is one band that is proving they are worth taking
