 It is with much regret that we wish to announce that Slain of Myself
are breaking up. Both Lee and Mat have decided to concentrate on
other areas of their lives and Tim and Josh feel unable to continue
without them. It is a sad decision for all of us, we will miss slain
dearly but there are definatley no hard feelings between us. We want to
take the chance to thank everyone who supported us so much, bought our
cds, came to our shows. It has meant so much to us over the past couple
of years to have the support and friendship from you guys and we will
cherish this forever. You can still buy our cd from Skinnys
(Brisbane), Rockinghorse (Brisbane), Big Star (Adelaide), Missing
Link (Melbourne) and hopefully we will have an online store up soon so
you can get it on here. But for now we will still have music up on
PureVolume, MP3.com.au, and HxCMP3.com. A Misguided Act of Friendship,
the only recorded song that hasnt been released will be up on these
sites for you to download soon.  BioSlain of myself are a five piece act formed in the autumn of 2003. With so many different influences such as Norma Jean, As I Lay Dying, and Zao, they have come to develop a unique blend of hardcore and metal. Combining wack timing, hard hitting breakdowns and a general in your face sound. With limited live performances so far, they are already creating a name for themselves through their passion filled live show and love of the local scene. Intensity, brutality and a message of faith, love and hope is their foundation.
