 RIGHT BACK AT YA (RBAY) are 5 dudes on a mission.
That mission is to bring
a sense of reality and sincerity back into hardcore. More specificly the
kids in the Northcoast scene.
Formed in early 2005 RBAY is the brainchild
of Johnson (vocals), Crispy (guitar), Switch (drums), Ryan KxO (bass) and
Stuie (vocals). RBAY brings together friends from all "walks" of hardcore.
Having members of already established NCHC bands such as Crossfire, Not of
This, Knifefight Opus, Just Say Go!!! and From These Wounds. With a
traditional sound and traditional ethic RBAY songs cover issues such as
unity, friendship, and self-discovery... but also touch on subjects such as
violence against women, "new jacking" kids, bullying and depression.
Opting
to go with a dual-vocal approach RBAY is a non-stop vocal onslaught.
Highlights for the band so far have been sharing shows with some of the best
bands in the country such as Shotpointblank, Jungle Fever, Knifefight Opus
and Parkway Drive. They have also recorded a 7 track demo which is
available for purchase at shows and at Skinny's Record Store in Brisbane.
