AGAINST are a four piece hardcore band from Brisbane, Queensland. They played their first gig on the 26th January 2002. By the end of 2002 AGAINST have gone on to play with bands such as: Throwdown (USA), Numb (JAPAN), Ensign (USA), Day of Contempt, Identity Theft, Life Love Regret, Stronger Than Hate, Restraint, Mourning Tide and The Nation Blue. They released a CD demo in July of the same year and there debut cd released May 2002 through 'Common Bond Records' (Sydney) and 'Hurry Up Records' (Italy) has sold over 500 copies. The music is based around powerful guitar grooves combining old school hardcore style with a metal edge. The high screaming vocals combined with the music make it extremely hard and fast.
